was really beautiful.... but no1 was ever meant to spend 9 hours on a bus
um then it was my birthday
I am 21 now
i went out for dinner at a nice japanese restuarant. was good!!
Britt arrived
we went to france
i love Lyon, i loved Paris
we came back to London
Britt then went home
ummm work gave me 2nd row tickets to Billy Elliot
was awesome!!!!!!!
Owen got a motorbike and it got stolen the next week
cynthia and me had free curry at a casino at midnight and it was called breakfast?
my parents arrive next week
ok thats all thats happened to me!!!! (ok all i can remember)
ohhhh i lost my nice phone and O2 were fucking gay so i switched to tmobile ;)

the good, the bad and the fucked up
today i woke up late - thats bad
my blind smaples arrived tho - thats good
had to pay for the tube - thats bad
work was busy - thats bad
my manager got me and brit a free nights stay in novotel paris eiffel tower including breakfast which is normally 205 euro! its a 4 star hotel - thats real good
i finished all my work on time - amazing
was meant to have free drinks on work - thats good
had a guy threaten me sayin he had my bank details from watchin me at the ATM and wanted me to give him money to delete it - thats fucked up
(long story short i asked for proof, he gave me none, restrained myself from punching him and told him he was fucked in the head, people walked past i started yelling stop following me)
i had to cancel my card and have no money - thats no good
eugenia calmed me down and we had coffee and cake - thats good
didnt go to work drinks coz was shaken up - that sucked
owen cheered me up once i got home - thats good
so yeah... that was my day

italia alla roma e milano
Wow I fail at blogging. Ialso wish mine looked as proffessional as james'... damn my lack of computer skills!!
ok so umm last post was about last month.... re-reading it made me angry about the camden crawl again grrr
ok so yes! this month I went to italy!! for a whole 6 days
thank god, needed that break from evil work
the new girl, who has now impoved and is a 43 yr old pregnant woman with no experience who got the job coz her husband knows sum1 and thought she should get out of the house. fuckin bullshit!
anyways she was so slow and draining my life
so italy was just perfect!
i went to Milan alone and went out wit random hostel ppl and they were really cool and fun!
there r so many african guys in milan trying to give u string as a gift but in turn want like 5 euro + donations. so dont be fooled!
anyways day1 i just shopped by myself, coz i knew no1. shopping was good, and no i didnt go into the high end fashion area to shop. I'm no sally!
and came back made friends and went out and partied
the next day all left except one guy, steve from reading so we went out to do the tourist sites.... which basically is a cathedral, a castle, a fancy shopping street and a park
but we got lots of gelato!! and it was sooooo sunny and hot.... was much better than London!
the next day I bid steve farewell and headed off for Rome to meet up with Simone!
Once we met up we got to the hostel and went shopping! for bathers! coz we went out of rome to the beach!
that was nice, but by teh time we got there it wasnt as sunny so we just lay around didnt go swimming
that nite we had the worst italian food ever! and were both tired and passed out fairly early... we also made friends wit a guy in our room named dave.
so the next day we had pizza for breakfast and ran into dave at the pizza shop, we also ran into another guy from our room Corey.
so corey was doing some tour thing about the catacombs so we went wit dave to see the collosseum! was so amazing to just be at the collosseum! but we got ripped off on our tour. Liza was shit! later we saw her doin a free tour so fuck you!
anyways we also went on the palantine hill....which i didnt kno anythin about but it was an absolutley amazing site so if u go to rome go on up! after that we got gelato and headed off for the spanish steps... for more gelato... thats wen i noticed i was a tomato! but yeah then we wandered over to the panthenon, which was cool until we got ripped off again by a misunderstanding of prices! then we went to the best place ever! the trevi fountain was just the best... could sit there for hours!
we then went to the piazza novona, which was also amazingly awesome, so jealous that anthony lived around there!!!! we had a tasty dinner with terrible service, followed by awesome pizza and 1ltr cocktails!
the next day we went to the vatican city. did you know that the vatican city was made from the marble from the old roman ruins like the collosseum. wow i had no idea how evil the church was in destroyin their own history! those romans hav no respect... or had none, just destroyed everything!
anyways vatican city was sheer decadence filled with priceless art. we had a rad tour guide!
while we were there we climbed to the top of st peters basilica, that was such an amazing view!!!!
then simone left so me and Corey, who had come with us on the tour along with a few other aussies we found at the train station, it was funny coz one worked at safeway box hill haha lololol bokky hill represent!
anywayssss me and Corey went to dinner and was all fun and stuff until the next day I had to come back to London, and the cold and work.
and since then nothin exciting has happened!

so much has happened
ok a lot has happened
but I've been lazy so its not written about!
i went down to visit relatives in devon. it was such a relaxing trip with good food and pretty scenery
the next week i went to belgium!!!
yep thats right weekend in belgium
was pretty awesome
we hired a car and stayed in novotel and ibis and went out and met random belgian guys who danced with
and we ate loads of chocolate and waffels
we also went on a cannal tour and a carriage ride!!!!
ummmm then we tried to go see the yeah yeah yeahs at the camden crawl but it was such a massive fail
wanted to stab all involved
and then i went to see outbreak and smartbomb and it was rad
and now i'm unable to figure out a password to unlock what is going on!!!!

the super tourist time ft. Anthony
So Anthony came to visit London!! YAYYYYY
We went out for indian on friday night mmmmm and then went out to a club nightc alled I love the 90s at the Carling Acedemy in islington near Angel.
It was pretty shitty... possibly what london was like in the 90s?
so we went into the next room which was an indie dance party thing
ok, didnt kno any of the songs but the strokes and that was good
stayed out fairly late, got home at 3.30
the next morning i met anthony at 11.30 at brick lane for coffee which was goooooood
then we did the following:
st pauls cathedral
millenium bridge
borough market
a ferry
embankment
big ben and westminister
st james park (where i hand fed a squirell)
buckingham palace
hyde park
paddle boating in hyde park
picadilly circus
american diner
china town
the tower of london
tower bridge
i then took him to the local pub and we made dinner and went out!!!
thats a diff story!!1
cynthia left her wallet on a bus, the place we were going to was full
so we walked with a bottle of wine to brick lane
where everything was closed!!!!!!!!
so then we walked to liverpool st to get the bus to camden town
where we got stuck in a shitty shitty rnb club for 40 misn until it closed at 3
then we went to picadilly circus and wandered around because EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED
grabbed some food
then went home
got in at 6am

london scares me
last night owen told me he saw someone get hit by a car crossing the road at the station. Apparently it was really bad and the person was not ok
i can't imagine having to be the one to see that
he had to call the ambulance
i would not be ok after that, but he said he was fine. how can u be fine after seeing someone die?
there is something wrong with this place and the people here that someone gets run over THAT badly at a crossing when they did have right of way

was good
and we walked through teh park and didnt get lost
and then we walked back coz we were gonna go to camden to see Sunnys art exhibition, but forgot where it was and if it was still on and then couldnt get hold of him or Olivier so instead we went and found PROPER COFFEE OPEN LATE CLOSE TO HOME
brick lane is like our brunswick st of east london
its vintage and decent coffee
i honestly didnt think such a place existed!!! and it even has cool art
it reminded me of the Tomorrow Cafe, our beloved closed down restaurant
but yes, its a good thing that we found this place... mayb we will drink less wine
a bottle a night each is deffs not a good way to live haha
....but it makes everything more fun haha

no news is good news

actually i had amazing news
muse r going to tour the UK and Europe in autumn! no jokes i will take all my holidays and spend all my savings on that!!!!
we all know how i feel about muse
but do we know how i feel about their new album due out in september??????
in other news i added my first random on myspace in forever, they were from london and had muse playing.... i decided to give them a chance
see, how awesome has my news come to?
i also miss my old jobs.... i miss seeing the target ppl and i miss sunshine and unrestriced web browsing at albumprinter hahaha
ok i realised i have done stuff to blog about now!!!
me and my gal pals aka justine and simone, we went to the colombia road flower market..... but we got side tracked!!! and wen shopping on brick lane and found probably THE BEST COFFEE IN LONDON!!! that was also a really really cool cafe, a proper cafe. not a fry up greasyspoon liek everywhere else claiming the word cafe!!!!
but yeah we had great coffee and then went to the amazingly cheap and tasty beigel place mmmm
i then found the best most amazing ever proper vintage day dress. its lovely!! cant wait til warm weather so i can wear it..... but i dont see that coming soon.... its been a month of spring and i am frozen in my room in bed!!!!!!
but yeah anyways simone bought crazy 80s top of course and justine bought the cutest lil jacket!!!
we then continued shoppinga nd i bought a watering can!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and then wen we went to the flower market i bought a purple orchid. its cute!!! all i need now is new curtins and my room is bearable!!!
anyways we came home and made cheesecake!!! proper baked cheesecake!!! and iyt just so happened owen was havin his friend over for a roast so we teamed up and had a proper dinner party!!! even set the table and had candles!!!!
justine and i hav started a nasty habit of drinking lots of wine in the park by the pretty pretty lake.... drinkin in public is legal here every1 this is something no1 looks down on us for here hahaha
but yeah we went to the park and got drunk while our cake baked..... then got really drunk. was funnnnn
the otehr exciting thing that happened was me and justine tried to study but had indian wine and cake
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
ummmmmm what else has happened????????? oh i had a personal training session at teh gym on monday and its thursday and my legs still ache 45 mins of squats and abs killed me cant wait to do it again 2morro morning!!!!!!!

London is just life for me
Yep, I havn't updated my blig coz I havnt done anything bligworthy to be honest with you
I've joined a gym, which is the most exciting thing for me!!! coz i've actually gotten fatter, the scales dont lie haha
but yes and I went to a wild house party and didnt get home til 6am. very not like me but was fun
it was at justine's house, her house is so the party house
ummmm I still hate my job and having to do an assignment about it was the worst!
i also didnt start it to the last few days and accidentally got drunk over dinner the night it was due so owen had to help me finish it coz i made no sense in typing!!
i also made friends wit a girl from work who i went to her house and we baked and watched sex and the city
was good fun
shes funny coz her english isnt amazing so she says the wrong words or makes really awesome action explainations
we made jap curry mmmmmmmmmm
oh and shes helping me book our trip to belgium, which should be good
mini europe!!! a world of the main attractions of europe!! and a chocolate factory!!! will be rad!!
and i'm gonna drive on the wrong side of the road!!!
i also just booked my flights to italy!!!
so from 7-9 May I will be in Milan and then until the 12th I will be in Romeeeeee
so yeah.... once those trips are underway I'm sure I'll be able to write an interesting travel blog!
oh and me and justine went for an awesome walk which was rad lol

alkaline trio
2nite i went to see alkaline trio
all by myself!!!!!
they played wit sum band i forgot and the audition, but the audition werent really my thing
and i couldnt stand not talkin to any1 so i talked to a couple of random girls
their names were nadia and indre and they were cool
nadia was a photographer for rockzone and was there coz she was personally invited by matt skiba
i thought that was quite interesting
hopefully i'll meet them both again coz they were really nice to let me talk to them
but anywayyssssss nadia saw them the night b4, which apparently was a better show coz they played older stuff
but i still very much enjoyed the show 2nite
and am so glad i got off my ass and went by myself
next time i wont be so scared =)

sorry for not updating
i fail at blogging!!!!!!
in short
i went to a famous couples dress up dance party that was fuckin rad as for valentines day
i actually contributed to a properly cooked meal involving vegetables and no pasta
simone arrived and we went shopping in camden town
i am going to see alkaline trio 2morro by myself
i'm scared and desperate to make a gig buddy to resolve all future show crisis
i am also planning to go to belgium in april to go to Groezrock.... look it up, sweet lineup inc the get up kids, which i am most psyched about

being a tourist
man writing a blog and updating it is quite an effort haha
me and justine went to the Borough markets and the tate modern
the borough markets were super TASTY
food markets!!!!!
we had cheeeeeeese, such good cheese
mulled wine!!
and giant pork rolls
as well as samples and baklava and mmmmmmm
then we were tired so we only got thru 1 floor of the tate modern
and on that floor was like shitloads or miro, there was monet there was dali, bacon, picasso, big names, famous pieces
and then justine went home and i went to st pauls cathedral and it was so pretty!!!!!!! and there was a choir
did i also say how i went out on saturday night?
i forgot?
well owen let me tag along to something he was goin to in camden town and we all danced the night away
was soooooo much fun
i went to bed at 6am. and you all know that i am a 2am kind of person haha
london... making bronnie sociable hahahaha

chilli cheese fries
Today me and Caity went to an American diner and I had a peanut butter milkshake and chilli cheese fries and caity had cheese fries
and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo GOOD!!!!!
except that i feel like death now!!!!!
It then snowed on me on my way home woo lol

let it snow
ok so since where i left off was me goin out we'll pick up there. we went back to Brick lane for more goin out.... except i went to a club open at the unusual hours of midnight to midday.... yes, one of those types.... it was called cafe 1001. Repetitive beats are not my scene.... at all....oh god not fun!! lol ok was kinda fun
anyways Eriks tayed at my place coz he had nowhere to stay, well nowhere closer to the airport!!
BUT when we got home at like 3am (with lots of salami?? erik loves the stuff) we found both couches to be occupied by french guys. darn
so we shared the bed, thats right already got men in my bed hahaha
the next day we went to china town for chinese new years celebrations.... and it snowed on us!!! was so awesome!!! (light snow, we didnt kno wat was to come!)
after that we came back and I dropped Erik at the bus stop.... he needed to be at the airport at 5
that night owen, one of my housemates said he'd take me to the local pub (coz i said teach me to be english that guy drinks a lot of guiness) anyways so we sat at the pub, my new drink fo choice is gin and tonic.... dont even try askin for a vodka raspberry here
the pub was sooooo cool, like old style, really warm atmosphere and then a band of old ppl startin playin some nice music!!!!! was awesome
anyways while inside a blizzard sort of started and eriks flights were cancelled.... due to the blizzard we had to drink more
by teh time we left there was like inches of snow!!!!! and we had a snow fight and owen fell over and my hands froze coz i didnt hav gloves and then we found ppl building a snowman
was so so so soooo much fun!!!!!
the next day however, sucked SO MUCH
took me an hour and a half to get to work..... the tube was closed, there were no buses.... my boots ARE NOT water proof so my feet were cold and wet
and work was so busy and i felt so useless
but overall i like the snow!! and i like where i live and i like the ppl
i'm outtie 5000

moving in
So since my last update I found sumwhere to live!!!
YAY
and I moved in TODAY yay!!!
its pretty great, its good to be free of the hotel and its good to have all my shit unpacked!!!!!
I should probably elaborate but nothing too exciting has happened
moving in was a bitch with the 2 cases but Justine helped me
i unpacked all my shit and now i'm gonna go out wit erik coz he leaves 2morro
oh yeah me and \justine went out last night as well
so its all party party for me lol

starting!
I started work yesterday. And by that I mean I did a 5 hour training course on health and safety woo fun. They really like disabled ppl here.. but I think its just coz they have really good anti discrimination laws and not coz they actually care
After that I then got my uniform (pink and grey oh god ew) and then got a tour of the hotel and the different rooms we have. Wasnt bad. Coz they days wasnt meant to go like that i had to do a shitload of paperwork at home!! But I skipped that and went and bought myself a nice new phone.... 78 pounds.... which is only $166 so not bad considering its actually nice!!! and when I get a bank account i'm goin on a 20 pound a month plan which will give me unlimited internet access on my phone so msn me wooooooo ( well when that happens)
After my exciting phone adventures I went for a walk to get the bus to visit Justine (fellow VU student) in Hackney, which is supposedly dodgy bvut i thought it seemed quite nice.
We looked for houses for me online and i went to see 2 of these over the past 2 days. TYhe first was around the corner from justine's so we went to see and it was a total steal for the price they were charging. Like sooooo homey!!!! lovely lovely place, but its nto available til March, oops misread the net!!
the one i looked at today was in Mile End, which is half an hour from my work. The station seemed a tad bit dodgy, but walking to the house didnt seem bad and when I asked the hosuemates what it was like they said there's a primary school across the street. they were really nice and we got on great. So great I got a msg from the girl saying that I've probs got it but shes not meant to say until Thursday so woooo
that place has free international calls as well so total win!!
The room was pretty small tho but meh, small room for nice housemates and close to work is good enough for me!!!
My laptops about to die. I found this free wireless in a pub lol.
back to the hotel for me!!

day 2
Erik came to see me and we went to China town and I almost fell asleep
ce
but then it took hm forever to get home and so he slept in today
I went for a walk around the Tower of London an Tower Bridge.... there is nothing down there
and then I went to meet Erik in Tufnell park, where his friend (an aussie thats been here 3 years) took us to the worst place
Its called The Church.... and its the "Aussie, NZ, south african" place where they get trashed every Sunday afternoon??? It was dirty as.... like they sell u a 6 pack of beer in a bag? and there was strippers and yeah.... coz its australia day there were lots of ppl dressed up too.... in flags, oh god ewwww
it also had shit music
then we went to Camden town, which I loved and I bought a nice dress. It was 33 pounds reduced from 110 wooooo bargain
Then we went and ate cuban food mmmm and there was live music and it was nice.
Now I'm at Eriks appartment and its gonna take me like forever to get home where there will be no internet! ugh

The leaving day
So yesterday, technically 23/01/2009 i left Melbs at midnight,... or a bit after as the plane was delayed (first point of bad luck)
You would all be so proud of me I didn't cry... well I was teary, I didn't wanna leave, I still kind wish i didn't leave, seriously why am I doing this to myself!!
Anyways back to the plane, sat in a middle seat, next to people who didnt talk and a guy who kept bumping into me in his sleep. Food was average, which is probably the cause of my second piece of bad luck as I feel like my stomach is exploding! still. oh lordie
Anyways so we landed in Hong Kong and I had a bit of a walk around and used the net to get the address of teh hotel.... but I did forget to tell erik some information..... which turned extra bad in the end!
Anyways sat next to a really nice girl on teh flight to London we were all talky and she was nice. I had a good seat, like no seats in front of me, lots of leg room and aisle seat
OH YEAH AND THEY HAD THE NEW LIVE MUSE CD ON THE PLANE. win
but yeah flight dragged on a lot and I developed a cold so stomach and nose and feel like death!!!!!
arrived in London, and no Erik..... I waited for nearly 2 hours, feeling like shit and being scared as. I didnt have his number and I hadn't given him enough info on my flight.... I'm used to melb airport with only 1 internation terminal.... Heathrow has 4..... and I was gonna ask but I thought it was a stupid question.... I only learnt this all after I'd left
So I tried to get on the net at 3.30.... but erik hadn't contacted me.... and i paged a couple of times and then left at 4, after arriving out at 2
and my phone died and my parents were freakin out about me at 2am.... when I got to the hotel and charged my phone there were 7 msgs. i felt so bad, i love my parents
Then I went and got the Tube by myself.... I got to where I needed to change to the line my station is on AND THEY ARE DOING FUCKING WORKS ON THE TRACKS!!!
so i had to ask a stranger for help and he gave me some directions. which I followed.... but it left me at the wrong station....
so while on the train I asked some people if there were stairs.... and they said yes, then i asked how to get to pepys st and they were goin there so 3 american insurance men were my knights in shinning armor and carried my cases all teh way to the hotel!!!
Then when i arrived I couldn't open my door and once the guy from reception let me in I came in and had a breakdown.
Then I had to pay 18.99 pounds for 24 hours of internet and TV (thats like $40 sumthin) and I'm here now!!!
But I mostly needed it to try and get in touch wit Erik.... who when I called him WAS STILL AT THE AIRPORT!!
poor thing, he had been in the wrong terminal and they had told him I would be in customs for 3 hours.... so he's on his way here now!!
Thats up-to-date-me. Now, things I forgot to bring or my hotel room fails at:
- i brought an electric toothbrush,.... there are no powerpoints in the bathroom
-i brought no toothpaste
-there is no conditioner
-i forgot my international student discount card
- forgot my hairbrush
- i didn't bring all my friends
